Added some sgraffito to my teapot.  I can;t wait to glaze!  I’m thinking yellow at the top, to golden brown, to black at the bottom :)

How to make a Mojo bag. The things you see in the photos here are for my money Mojo bag.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

-Material if sewing, flannel bag if not.

[the color will depend on whether you use color correspondences or not] I made the mistake of using thick felt for mine. So get some flannel instead.

-Your herbs of choice. [I used Cinnamon, Whole Cloves, and Ground peppermint for my Money Mojo bag.]

-A liquid for feeding it, now this can be any herbal oil, bodily fluid, spiritual waters, etc. I chose patchouli for money.

-OPTIONAL-
- A needle and thread for hand sewing.

- One Pyrite crystal [for the money mojo]

STEPS.

1-Sew up a basic bag. There are many tutorials available, so I don’t think I need to explain.

2- Once you have sewn the basic bag, and tied the thread off, flip it inside out. Then create a basic hem for the drawstring. Make notches to weave your material for the drawstring through as well, being careful as to not cut the stitches of the hem.

3- Now weave your drawstring through the notches, now you have a basic bag. Time to put the Mojo in it!

4- Place your intention in the herbs and whatever else you decide to put within the bag. Close it up. Now you must Fix your bag. You can breathe onto or into the bag, smoke it with incense, pray over it, etc. Do whichever method feels best for you. Usually this is done at an altar space.

5- After you have fixed the bag, you must feed the luck or spirit inside it. You can do this with Whiskey, an herbal oil, any spiritual waters, bodily fluids, etc. depending on the purpose for making the bag. Feed the bag for seven days, and then feed it once a week for four weeks on the same day of the week it was made. After that month, it should only be fed once a month when the moon is new. Then once a week feed it again.

6- Now, one of the most important rules. KEEP YOUR MOJO AWAY FROM OTHERS. If they touch it, they will “kill the hand” and render it useless. You can also name your mojo, because according to belief, their is a spiritual ally inside you mojo. Or it may say it’s name to you.

7- if someone touches your mojo, and the hand is killed. You can either bury it [honorably] or wash the undamaged items with whiskey or Hoyt’s cologne and create a new mojo.

So this has been what’s going on with me … And this is what I have learned.

Sometimes you can’t be lazy in witchcraft and rootwork, especially when you have a habit of reading and doing work for yourself and others.

You gotta be pristine, on time, and more importantly, you gotta be clean.

Also known as Midsummer, Litha is a pagan celebration of the Summer Solstice. The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, usually taking place on or around June 21st in the Northern Hemisphere (December 21st in the Southern Hemisphere). Celebrations may begin on Midsummer’s Eve, which is…

The word you want is Wiccan, not pagan. Not all pagans observe the same holidays.

while I do realize that Litha is generally used to refer to the Wiccan sabbat nowadays, the term Litha predates Wicca by centuries (it’s believed to be have come from Bede’s The Reckoning of Time). I felt “pagan” and “neopagan” were appropriate terms because many non-Wiccans/NeoWiccans observe Litha or the Summer Solstice in general. and yes, of course not all pagans observe the same holidays - I never stated such.
